Had an interesting time familiarizing myself with The Voicecaster’s VOWG (Voice Over Workout Group). It was wrangled by the esteemed Dmitri Michas, with direction/engineering from the talented Lindsey Alena. Got comfortable with the space – practiced various copy. It was a needed experience. Repeat visit imminent.

Attended a wonderful Q&A with prolific casting director Lisa Pantone. She was engaging, shared some very funny stories, and had a great perspective on actors and the casting world.

Attended a very informative Q&A with commercial agent Brooke Nuttall from Kazarian/Spencer/Ruskin and Associates (KSR) at AFI. Interesting history, current trends, and overall feel of the commercial industry from her and her agency’s perspective.

Offered a role on an AFI short film! Project will be under the banner of Creekview Films. It’s written by Matt Handy & Ryan Leedy with Avi Quijada producing. Directed by Matt Handy. Shoot begins this weekend.

Attended a casting director workshop/intensive with the great Roe Baker. Was nice to finally meet face to face. She’s a hard hitter; will tell you the blunt truth, what you need to hear, but in this business that can be a rare find.
